We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position's home base will be Eagles Landing, our Long-term Care Village.
Position Summary
The Charge Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of the assigned care area and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care. This role provides leadership and support to nursing staff, coordinates care activities, and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team. The Charge Nurse (RN) ensures compliance with all regulatory standards while promoting a safe, compassionate, and efficient care environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans, policies, and best practicesÂ
- Supervise and support CNAs and other nursing staff on assigned shiftÂ
- Coordinate and delegate assignments to ensure appropriate staffing and workload distributionÂ
- Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in statusÂ
- Administer medications and treatments as orderedÂ
- Communicate effectively with providers, families, and interdisciplinary team membersÂ
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care and services providedÂ
- Promote a safe environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocolsÂ
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and care transitionsÂ
- Address concerns, incidents, and emergencies in a timely and professional mannerÂ
- Support compliance with state and federal regulations and organizational policiesÂ
- Serve as a role model and resource to staff, fostering a positive team environment
Requirements
- Current, active RN license in the State of MaineÂ
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, residents, families, and supervisorsÂ
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentialityÂ
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamÂ
- Proficiency in spoken and written EnglishÂ
- Basic computer skills
Shifts Available:
- 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
