We are currently hiring experienced Carpenters for commercial construction work in Augusta, Maine.

Job Duties

• Perform general carpentry work on commercial construction projects
• Read and work from blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials
• Frame walls, ceilings, floors, and other structures as needed
• Install doors, windows, trim, and other finish materials
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Assist with job site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
• Follow directions from supervisors and project leaders
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements

Requirements

• Previous carpentry experience required
• Commercial construction experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications
• Proficiency with common hand and power tools
• OSHA 10 certification preferred/required based on project requirements
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift materials as required
