This position is full-time in person, Monday through Friday; 8am to 5pm in Augusta.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Correspondence Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Team. The Correspondence Specialist is responsible for providing timely, accurate, and customer-focused support to patients and internal departments. This position plays a key role in the daily administrative communications for KPHC. The position will support patient pay follow-up, assist with billing documentation, and collaborate with supervisors to resolve escalated patient concerns.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide excellent customer service while taking inbound calls and assisting with requests.
  • Handling all phases of customer inquiries received via phone or written correspondence.
  • Responding to customer inquiries and complaints regarding bill payments, account updates, service issues, and collections in a professional manner.
  • Efficient, timely, and accurate processing and data entry of assigned claim files and claim payments.
  • Ensuring that payer and third-party company addresses are updated and accurate
  • Work in a team environment in a shared office space 
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage an active caseload.  
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and rights.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge of billing and collections processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
