The Nurse Practitioner opportunity is a key member of the Lighthouse Medical Staff Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric therapeutic strategy with a keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective treatment is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements.  The Nurse Practitioner oversees the quality of care delivered to assigned patients according to the established protocols between supervising physician(s).

 

Job Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Conducts assessments, evaluates diagnoses, medication management, and treatment planning.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, fostering collaborative relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Master’s level Nurse Practitioner program, accredited accordingly.
  • Active Georgia license or eligibility to acquire one.
  • Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a nurse practitioner role, with proficiency in treating patients aged 5 and above.
