Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Nurse Practitioners (NP) to support the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center located at 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30904. This is a PRN position working on an as needed basis. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced nursing care in the Emergency Room setting.
  • Collaborate with physicians and physician assistants.
  • Participate in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Support managed healthcare delivery.

Qualifications

  • A current license in at least one (1) state, territory, or commonwealth in the U.S. or the District of Columbia.
  • Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) by an American Health Association Vendor. 
  • Current certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • A current curriculum vitae (cv) which identifies the provider's education and professional qualifications commensurate with the position or specialty for which they are being offered to perform. 
  • Have no health or physical disability restrictions that interfere with the performance of duties. 
  • Have the knowledge and ability to use computers and technology efficiently in the computers and technology efficiently in the course of the duties and responsibilities.

All candidates must be able to:

  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
