Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Outpatient Pharmacy Technician supporting Fort Eisenhower Army Medical Center near Augusta, GA.

Position Requirements:

• Graduate from a formal pharmacy technician program 
• Certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
• Minimum 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician within the past three years

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases.
• Provide new and refill prescriptions, support patient requests, support physician’s requests, monitor for drug interactions, and report adverse drug reactions.
• Perform quality improvement duties including performing drug storage inspection, reviewing expired supplies, and producing error and workload reports and documentation.
• Placing new orders, stock shelves, and provide inventory maintenance
