Position Overview:聽

Your focus as a Community Manager is to enhance the community for which they are responsible in the most efficient and profitable manner possible based upon the goals and objectives of the owner(s) and investor(s), as well as ensuring the greatest possible satisfaction and wellbeing of all customers. Job Description/Principal Duties and Responsibilities


Financial & Asset Management:

路 Prepare and manage property budgets, forecasts, and variance reports

路 Monitor rent collections, delinquency, and expense controls

路 Approve invoices, manage vendor contracts, and oversee capital and operating expenditures

路 Achieve NOI and occupancy targets set by ownership

Team Leadership & Staffing:

路 Recruit, train, and supervise on-site staff

路 Establish performance expectations and conduct regular coaching and evaluations

路 Foster a culture of accountability, customer service, and teamwork

路 Proactive in identifying potential team conflicts and implementing mediating strategies 聽

Leasing & Resident Experience:

路 Oversee leasing activities including tours, applications, approvals, and move-ins

路 Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company leasing policies

路 Handle resident concerns and conflict resolution professionally

路 Resident retention and engagement


Compliance & Risk Management:

路 Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, OSHA, EPA, local housing laws, and company policies

路 Maintain accurate records, reports, and leasing documentation

路 Conduct regular property inspections and ensure safety standards are met

Qualifications & Skills:

路 High School graduate or equivalent聽

路 Industry and related continuing education preferred

Experience Required:

路 3+ years of multifamily property management experience 聽

路 Strong marketing and sales background

路 Strong financial and leadership skills聽

路 Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, MRI, AppFolio)

Preferred:

路 CAM, CPM, or ARM designation

路 Experience on Yardi Voyager and CRM IQ


Physical & Work Requirements:

路 Ability to walk the property and climb stairs

路 Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours as needed

Supervision Received:

The Community Manager will report to the Regional Property Manager / Director of Operations

Supervision Exercised:

The Community Manager will supervise all on-site associates and all outside contractors employed by the property management company to work in their community.
