Job Description

As a Security Officer Overnight - Full Time in Augusta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a behavioral health setting, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support staff, visitors, and those receiving care through strong communication, dependable service, and integrity, while working as part of a reliable and innovative team.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a behavioral health location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directional support, and help maintain orderly movement of people throughout the location in accordance with site protocols.
• Support staff during behavioral incidents or medical emergencies by following post orders, maintaining awareness of surroundings, and reporting concerns through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
