Responsibilities
JOB PURPOSE:Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigerationequipment and systems. Maintain the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment. Specificsystems may include: electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan powered boxes and auxiliaryequipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.) ,chiller operations, BAS controls,pump operations, water treatment program, air handler units, VAV’s, walk-in coolers and freezers,refrigerators, ice machines and boiler operations.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:High school diploma or GED.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Five (5) years of experience as an HVAC Tech.For systems that include BAS controls, experience must include two (2) years of commercial/healthcareHVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program.MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Conditioned Air Georgia State license (Non-Restricted, or Restricted)EPA-Universal CertificationADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of Vocational School preferred.
