Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta has been providing psychiatric services to the CSRA for more than 15-years.  Located in Augusta, GA our 84-bed facility provides a therapeutic setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness.  Lighthouse Care Center offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities, and our tenured team includes seasoned medical staff.

The Staffing Coordinator/ Scheduler opportunity is a key member of the Lighthouse Nursing Team who will collaborate with management to perform all scheduling needs for the department; ensuring that delivery of an effective, efficient scheduling process is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements.  The Staffing Coordinator/ Scheduler is responsible for comprehensive data entry, managment and revisions for nursing employees in the facilities' UKG Workforce system which manages schedules, time off, staffing incentives and department transfers. 

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with management in establishing an effective system for call-offs, overtime, and reporting callouts; replace and report call-outs in a prompt manner, arranging additional staff as needed
  • Monitor staff attendance and punctuality, scheduled staff hours, FTE management, as well as per diem requirements for PRN staff
  • Schedule orienting staff with preceptors for new hire orientation
  • Present the Schedule Management information during new hire orientation

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license required
