Traveling Construction Superintendent

The Traveling Construction Superintendent is based in Augusta, GA, and travels to various project sites as needed. This role is responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with plans and specifications. Additional duties may be assigned as required.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct daily reviews to ensure compliance with construction plans and perform quality control inspections of subcontractors’ work.
  • Review, understand, and enforce project schedules and milestone obligations.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple trades and tasks simultaneously, proactively identifying and resolving conflicts in work conditions.
  • Maintain accurate daily job logs and track and report construction activities on the jobsite.
  • Identify potential change orders and scope gaps in a timely manner and communicate accordingly.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify material deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
  • Ensure jobsites are kept clean, organized, and professional at all times.
  • Enforce OSHA regulations and Company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Work Location: On site 
  • 5 plus years of construction experience; multiple divisions are preferred.
  • Ability to read drawings, specifications, and renderings.
  • Must be available via phone and/or e-mail for extended work hours, including weekends.
  • Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
