Description

Oneida Engineering Solutions (OES) was awarded the Outstanding Tribally Owned Business of the Year award in 2023. We are an 8(a), minority business enterprise (MBE) that provides engineering, environmental, science, and specialized professional services solutions for customers nationwide. 


OES has openings for a Construction Inspector at Buckley AFB, in Aurora, CO, subject to the award of a pending contract. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect construction projects to verify that plans and specifications are followed.
  • Complete detailed daily reports and photo log.
  • Work collaboratively with coworkers, staff, construction contractors, and the designer of record to troubleshoot problems that arise during construction.
  • Coordinate with the designer of record to answer RFIs, evaluate submittals, and prepare modification paperwork with updated drawings and cost estimates.
  • Prepare Real Property documentation, punch lists, or other items required by the client.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality control management of Department of Defense construction projects.
  • 3+ years of civil and/or construction practices, procedures, and testing.
  • Completion of the USACE Quality Control Management course within the last five years.
  • Knowledge of Federal and National Guard Engineering and Acquisition Standards.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Possess a valid Secret Clearance or ability to attain before employment start.
  • Read, write, and speak effectively in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The ability to use AutoCAD to complete red-line drawings.
  • Experience with vertical construction projects involving electrical, mechanical, fire protection, structural, and/or architectural systems.
  • Experience with projects abating hazardous materials, such as asbestos or lead-based paint
  • The ability to review construction submittals.
  • OSHA 30

Compensation Range: $70,000- $90,000 + Benefits (Based on Experience)
