Reports To: Principal, AXL Academy
SUMMARY
The Instructional Coach will provide high-quality, targeted instructional coaching to AXL Academy teachers as part of AXL's expansion of its middle school and ongoing commitment to high-quality instruction. Coaching will focus on three core domains:

Classroom Management & Culture through Teach Like a Champion Strategies

Embedded Multi-Lingual Learner (MLL) instructional practices

Lesson Planning, Instructional Rigor, & Standards-Based Grading
Once a teacher demonstrates mastery in these foundational areas, coaching may extend into advanced domains such as assessment design, differentiation, and data-driven instruction.
The coach will work with 3ā15 teachers (coachees) and provide 2-3 coaching touchpoints per teacher per week (observations and/or coaching meetings). The role includes monthly alignment meetings with the AXL Administration Team and regular submission of coaching data to help inform teacher growth and evaluation processes.
Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Principal.
