client service representative/doctor assistant

Indian Prairie Animal Hospital is looking for a client service representative/doctor assistant. 

The ideal person for this position understands the importance of working as a team and communicating with each other in a a professional manner. They should be an independent and reliable self-starter with lots of energy and a passion for the veterinary field.  

As a Client Services Representative, you will be the first welcoming point of contact into our practice, requiring a friendly, outgoing personality with strong attention to detail. Receptionist responsibilities include phone correspondence with clients in varying ways, processing client transactions, maintaining records and assisting in the appointment flow.

As a doctor assistant you are responsible transcribing notes into patient record, getting prescriptions ready, relay with fellow support staff what testing the doctor wants, ensuring charges get into patient file. This position requires a flexible schedule to include evenings and Saturdays. Previous veterinary/medical reception experience preferred.
