We invest in training for our employees. If you are looking for a change now may be the time to join our team We are looking for an experienced Diesel Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and other related components. The ideal candidate will be able to diagnose and repair any issues with diesel engines, as well as perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.


Responsibilities:


• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and components.

• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and components.

• Inspect and diagnose engine performance issues.

• Test and adjust engine performance systems.

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and components.

• Troubleshoot electrical systems on diesel engines.

• Repair fuel systems on diesel engines.

• Must have own tools required for the job.

• Ability to complete repairs on a wide variety of equipment.

• Adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing any defective parts
• Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work
• Diagnosing malfunctions or problems using a computerized system or testing equipment to determine the root cause of any issues
• Repairing and verifying any emission control systems
• Meeting with customers to explain problems and possible solutions
• Carrying out any repairs as needed to replace the transmission or other damaged parts
• Working with specialized machinery such as combines or tracked vehicles
• Understanding the inner workings of various machines such as spreaders, swathers, small construction, harvesting equipment, tilliage, or  other farming equipment

Schedule:


• 8 hour shift

• Overtime
