Position Description:

The Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine at The University of Louisville seeks a professor in Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine to serve in a term-track position. This position will begin at the Assistant Professor level. As a faculty member of the medical school staff, based in the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine at University of Louisville Hospital, as well as UofL Healthcare-Jewish Hospital Downtown campus, this position involves instruction of medical students during their rotation in our department and participation in the didactic teaching of anesthesia residents and other surgical and emergency department residents rotating through anesthesiology. This position also involves patient management, supervision of residents and nurses in the OR, and research duties.  Applicants must hold an MD, and must have completed clinical training in anesthesia. Candidate must also possess a Kentucky Medical license.
