Position Description:

The University of Louisville, Department of Radiology, ED Imaging Section, is seeking a BC/BE, fellowship-trained academic radiologist and will be filled at the Associate Professor (open rank) level on a full-time basis with rank commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities for the Emergency Imaging section at the University of Louisville include supervision and training of Radiology residents, fellows, and medical students. The ED section covers a busy workload of inpatient and outpatient cross-sectional and radiographic imaging. Imaging workup is concentrated in trauma imaging, both acute and chronic. We cover a diverse group of facilities, including a level one trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, a transplant center, and community hospitals. This position will be working mostly second shift, so we provide a competitive amount of time off, allowing for a rewarding work-life balance.

Conference Participation: Multidisciplinary conferences. Quality and Safety Conferences.

Research: While optional, if interested, the desired candidate will have strong research record of publications or other evidence of scholarly activity.
