Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Setting | Illinois

Immediate Openings for the Current School Year

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is collaborating with an Illinois school district to bring on a motivated and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, school-based role is a great fit for an SLP who is passionate about helping students develop strong communication skills that enhance learning, social engagement, and self-confidence.

In this position, you’ll be an integral part of a collaborative special education team, delivering comprehensive speech and language services to students with a wide range of needs. You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working in a supportive, team-oriented school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and educational planning.
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and create individualized therapy plans.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to reinforce communication strategies across settings.
  • Provide direct services addressing articulation, expressive/receptive language, fluency, voice, and social communication.
  • Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

Must hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field and possess an active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license or be eligible for licensure in the state. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team.
