Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Aurora, CO, is currently seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to optimize patient flow, deliver outstanding patient service, and monitor patient satisfaction. This position will report to the Assistant Operations Manager.

 

Pay range: $23-$29/hr

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Communicate proper oral hygiene and preventative care to the patient and family
  • Assist in the development and training of dental assistants
  • Hold all teammates accountable to meeting expectations in achieving our mission
  • Support in the supervision of all clinical teammates to include, but not limited to, training, directing work assignments, monitoring success and opportunities, supporting appraisal reviews and coaching conversations, addressing and resolving complaints
  • Assist in protective stabilization dental cases with compassion
  • Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
  • Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Job Qualifications

  • Active EDDA/EFDA certification that meets state requirements
  • Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
  • Extensive experience working in a dental office
  • Proficient with e-Clinical Works a plus
  • Current BLS CPR certification
  • Experience with administration and monitoring of nitrous oxide
  • Ability to understand and accurately record patient vitals
  • Experience with protective stabilization cases (i.e. head holding, hand holding)
