Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a bilingual School Counselor to provide temporary leave coverage for a welcoming Illinois middle school from August 11 through November 16. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a compassionate professional who is fluent in Spanish and English and enjoys helping adolescents thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Working alongside a collaborative team of educators and school professionals, you'll serve as a trusted resource for students by providing counseling services, promoting emotional wellness, and strengthening partnerships between the school and families. Your guidance will help students overcome challenges, develop confidence, and achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.

This assignment includes a 37.5-hour workweek with a paid lunch. Responsibilities include delivering individual and small-group counseling, assisting with student goal-setting and conflict resolution, supporting school-wide wellness initiatives, consulting with teachers and administrators, and connecting families with valuable resources to enhance student outcomes.

Candidates should be fluent in Spanish and English and possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience working in a school setting is beneficial but not required. Applicants must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Counselor endorsement and demonstrate a genuine commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment where middle school students can flourish.
