Maintenance Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team and support the upkeep of our facilities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in hands-on work and maintaining a safe, functional environment. The Maintenance Assistant will work closely with the maintenance team to perform routine tasks and assist with repairs, ensuring our premises remain in optimal condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance
- Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting and resolving equipment or facility issues
- Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance storage areas and tools
- Document maintenance activities and report any safety hazards or urgent repairs
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and tools
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Prior experience in maintenance or facilities management is a plus but not required
