Maintenance Supervisor – Affordable Housing Community (Aurora, IL)
A well-established property management company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to support a busy Section 8 apartment community in Aurora, IL.

Position Overview:
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all property maintenance operations, ensuring the community is safe, well-maintained, and operating efficiently. This role is hands-on and includes supervising maintenance staff, coordinating work orders, and managing preventative maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and support on-site maintenance team members
     
  • Complete and assign work orders, unit turns, and preventative maintenance
     
  • Ensure all building systems and equipment are functioning properly
     
  • Maintain compliance with HUD/Section 8 requirements and property standards
     
  • Oversee vendor scheduling, project timelines, and maintenance budgets
     
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to safety protocols

Requirements

 Qualifications:

  • Previous maintenance lead or supervisor experience required  
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs
