Member Services Manager

At The District Credit Union, we're looking for a Member Services Manager to lead our front-line teams and help drive growth, service excellence, and community impact.

About the Role

As a Member Services Manager, you'll lead and support our member services teams across multiple locations, ensuring an outstanding experience for every member interaction. You'll play a key role in driving deposit and loan growth, coaching employees, and fostering a culture aligned with our mission, vision, and values.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine people development, operational oversight, and lending expertise to strengthen both team performance and member relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop tellers, contact center representatives, and member service representatives
  • Drive branch performance through deposit growth, loan production, and new member acquisition
  • Support lending operations, including underwriting consumer loans within authority
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies
  • Monitor and improve audit performance, operational controls, and risk management
  • Foster a strong, service-focused culture aligned with organizational values
  • Partner with leadership on marketing initiatives, growth strategies, and community engagement
  • Conduct team meetings, one-on-ones, and performance evaluations to support staff success

What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of leadership experience in a bank or credit union
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong knowledge of consumer lending and deposit operations
  • Solid understanding of regulatory compliance (Regs B, D, E, Z, CC, DD)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, etc.)

Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
