About this Role

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is seeking an Operational Field Specialist to support field operations by ensuring efficient coordination of projects, resources, safety compliance, and operational processes. This role serves as a key liaison between field crews, project management, and regional leadership to drive operational excellence, cost control, and schedule adherence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in both field and office environments. 

Salary Range for this rolewill be: 60 - 70k, based on experience

What You'll Do

Field Operations Support

  • Support daily field operations across assigned projects and crews.
  • Monitor project schedules, manpower allocation, and equipment usage.
  • Assist in coordinating field logistics, materials delivery, and vendor scheduling.
  • Track and report key operational metrics (production, safety, cost, quality).
  • Partner with field leadership to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.

Project & Administrative Coordination

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining job documentation including reports, change orders, and cost tracking.
  • Support onboarding of field employees and ensure required documentation is complete.
  • Coordinate timesheet review and assist with payroll accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records of project data, work progress, and compliance documentation.

Safety & Compliance

  • Promote and reinforce PAR Electric’s safety culture.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and client requirements.
  • Support field audits, safety meetings, and incident reporting processes.
  • Assist in maintaining fleet and equipment compliance records.

Operational Reporting & Analysis

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize operational data for leadership review.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives as needed.
  • Utilize ERP and project management systems to ensure data accuracy and reporting consistency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between field crews, project managers, accounting, procurement, and safety departments.
  • Provide operational support during peak project periods or special initiatives.
  • Support regional leadership with special projects and process improvements.

What You'll Bring

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Operations, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in construction operations, field coordination, or related role.
  • Strong understanding of field operations and project workflows.
  • Experience working in utility, electrical, or construction environments preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel required); ERP or project management software experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced field environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with field personnel and leadership.
