About the role

Job Summary

We are looking for someone who is team-oriented, committed to quality work and a quick learner. Some experience in the light and/or heavy duty equipment is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan for and prepare product for transfer to and from customers.
  • Receive goods into our facility.
  • Provide tracking information and freight quotes upon request. Inventory and order packaging supplies when   needed. Source and hire freight companies for local and long-distance deliveries.
  • Learn to disassemble all types of pumping equipment.
  • Removes, cleans and prepares all types of pumping equipment components for inspection.
  • Learn to inspect and records measurements of component parts and prepare inspection documentation.
  • Maintains tools and equipment as required to keep them in good operation condition
  • Provides incoming goods receiving information to allow a smooth transition for other coworkers to follow through with in-process work during working hours.
  • Assist’s other team members as directed, including training with and working directly under a more senior co-worker.
  • Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and EHS Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures
  • Provides excellent customer service to all your customers both internal and externally.
  • Learns to perform minor set up and basic machining of non-critical component parts under Journeymen’s watch.
  • Open to and shows desire to learn to weld and be certified in multiple disciplines of welding.
  • Drives Company owned vehicles less than 10000# GVW when required.
  • Perform other duties and/or administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, UPS & Fed-Ex applications).
  • Ability to detect and correct paperwork errors or discrepancies as necessary.
  • Ability to carry out routine verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be able to regularly lift 50lbs
