In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with executives and project leaders, using data to inform strategy and guides decision-making. The ideal candidate is an Excel expert with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on data analysis. Experience in retail analytics or working with major retailers such as Home Depot or Lowe’s is a strong plus. Position Overview: The Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting leadership through accurate reporting, data analysis, and process optimization. This role requires advanced Excel skills, strong communication abilities, and the confidence to interact with executives, project managers, and field leadership. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, think strategically, ability to solve problems under pressure, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, continuously improving environment. Key Responsibilities: Create, maintain, and distribute customized reporting to support business decisions and performance tracking. Analyze and interpret operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Communicate findings clearly and effectively with Executives, Project Managers, Regional Managers, and in-field personnel. Apply strategic thinking and problem-solving to address challenges and improve efficiency. Make informed, data-driven decisions under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Ensure all operational data is clean, consistent, and reliable through validation and regular audits. Design and maintain dashboards that visualize key metrics such as productivity, efficiency, and cost performance. Collaborate across teams to align data reporting with business priorities and initiatives. Demonstrate adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset by identifying opportunities to streamline reporting and processes. QualificationsTechnical Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Analytics, or a related field (or 5+ years of equivalent experience) desired. Microsoft Excel (Advanced): Highly skilled in building, analyzing, and presenting complex Excel reports, including program tracking tools, budgets, and executive-level summaries using pivot tables, charts, and advanced formulas. Microsoft PowerPoint: Skilled in developing polished, data-driven presentations for senior leadership. Collaboration Platforms: Proficient in Microsoft Teams or Smartsheet for communication and project tracking. Business Intelligence Tools: Experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred for dashboards and data visualization. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present organizational data to leadership and field teams. Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
