Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking to add a Space Intelligence & Operations Analyst to our team at Buckley Space Force Base in Aurora, CO.

The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility.  Remote and/or Hybrid work is not available.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Provides sophisticated analysis to a variety of customers by working with one or more of the following: open source, human intelligence, signals intelligence, and /or image intelligence. 

  • Works with knowledge discovery and link analysis technology to gather and process information. 

  • Reviews source, extracts relevant information, evaluates data, and prepares written reports and briefings, as necessary. 

  • Maintains extensive knowledge of current events and trends in order to relate their work to real world requirements. Emphasis is on identifying actionable intelligence.  Reporting is tailored to customer-unique requirements.

  • Processing of OPIR data

Basic Requirements:

  • 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters. 4 additional years of experience required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access.

  • United States Citizenship is required.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph prior to start.

  • The ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, supporting 24x7 operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in orbit or telemetry

Primary Level Salary Range: $81,300.00 - $121,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
