Position Description: 

The TMC/RA Manager supports 24x7x365 operation and oversees roadside and TMC personnel ensuring safe, efficient, and coordinated incident response across the E-470 corridor. This role is a leadership position that requires initiative, decisive judgment, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This position demands the ability to anticipate operational needs, proactively solve problems, and uphold high standards of performance in a dynamic, safety critical environment.

A core expectation is staff development. This position evaluates personnel performance, delivers coaching and training, and supports growth through safety, incident management, and operational training programs. Through ongoing training and development, the Manager strengthens individual capability and builds a high performing team that can meet routine and emergency operational demands. This leadership also extends to ensuring staff understand updated procedures, safety expectations, and best practices in traffic incident management.

This position is supported by the Operations Manager. Based on operational needs, oversight responsibilities or tasks for the RA and TMC functions may be split between the management team to ensure consistent coverage, effective resource deployment, and alignment with organizational goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

•             Directly supervises day-to-day operations of TMC and RA activities ensuring effective, consistent                          execution of Standard Operating Procedures.

•             Monitoring and auditing staff performance to ensure safety and KPI goals are met.

•             Maintain work schedules for staff including replacements during absences.

•             Manage fleet activities such as scheduling, inspections and maintenance.

•             Responsible for TIM Training program and continuous training.

•             Participates or leads severe incidents after action review and other TIM activities.

•             Serve as Safety Lead; Develop and update Road Management Safety Program.

•             Conduct safety audits using field ride along and system records.

•             Deliver corrective action or disciplinary measures when needed.

•             Assist in the preparation of recurring or ad hoc reports or research.

•             Perform routine administrative tasks as needed.

•             Successful completion of SHRP2 TIM Train the Trainer Certification, National TIM Responder training,                 NIMS 100, 200, 300, 700

Compensation:

Expected Salary (Colorado only): $73,500 - $92,000
