Description

Memorial Health Clinic in Aurora, NE is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team. This position will be full-time with rotating Saturdays.

As the first point of contact for patients, this position plays a vital role in creating a positive patient experience. The Medical Receptionist performs a variety of secretarial duties including receptionist, telephone, typing and filing. All information shall be handled to preserve confidentiality.

Job Duties:

  • Meets or exceeds patient customer service requirements as first point of contact representative.
  • Schedules appointments/procedures and completes all admission and registration functions for new and established patients and provides pre-registration instructions.
  • Performs general office duties as needed including maintaining department supplies and equipment.
  • Follows HIPAA regulations and ensures that the confidentiality of patients’ medical, personal, financial records, employee records, and organizational records is maintained.
  • Complies, understands, and enforces state and federal regulatory requirements related to the performance of Memorial Community Health operations and requirements, including but not limited to HIPAA, the Code of Conduct, the Compliance Policy, Safety and Infection Control, all department and organization-wide policies, and Federal and State of Nebraska regulations.\
  • Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of general office experience
  • Previous multi-line phone experience
