Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by the employer.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
  • Additional certifications such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA).
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, under the supervision of nursing staff.
  • Provide mobility assistance, including helping patients move safely within the facility and positioning bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and common areas to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to report patient status and any concerns promptly.
