Job Summary: | The Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center (HTC) is a federally funded program that exists to identify, treat, and give access to care for persons with bleeding and clotting disorders in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. The HTC provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services, education and consultative services for community physicians, and educational and other support programs for patients and their families. The work is organized into four sections: research, clinical care, advocacy and community service, and pharmacy services. This position functions within the Clinical unit of the HTC, providing clinical care for patients. Â The RN Coordinator provides direct patient care for persons with coagulation disorders under the auspices of physician management with responsibilities that include but are not limited to assessment and treatment of patients with acute bleeding or clotting problems under direction of medical providers, both outpatient and inpatient as well as nursing evaluation of patients in annual comprehensive clinics and during follow-up clinics. In conjunction with multi-disciplinary team, the RN functions as the primary care nurse for an assigned number of patients, implements treatment plans, provides education to patients and community agencies; participates in outreach clinics and programs; contributes to clinical research studies, and is committed to ongoing learning and education in this area of specialty and the field of nursing and medicine. Work Location: | Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite at the CU Medicine Building, HTC, in Aurora CO.  |

Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $80,000 – $96,000.  The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.  Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
