Job Description:

The Global Client Group (GCG) is Dimensional’s distribution arm, comprising sales channels that target a diverse client set. By putting the client first, we strive to transform the way the world invests, and our solutions are a testament to the value provided to our clients.  GCG is responsible for developing new business relationships as well as managing current relationships with our global clients. We take the time to understand clients’ evolving needs, identifying where we can add value and collaborating to provide a better investment experience. 

Our National Relationship Group (NRG) is responsible for working with independent RIA and independent broker/dealer affiliated financial advisors across the country. The Senior Associate will lead relationship management and sales activities directly with financial advisors. They will also support Regional Directors in business development and client retention activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Articulating complex investment principles and capital market research to financial advisors
  • Educating financial advisors on why and how our portfolio solutions are constructed and work the way they do
  • Interacting with advisors on practice management related issues
  • Uncovering both opportunities and vulnerabilities with current clients through outbound phone calls
  • Executing on regional roadshows that bring Dimensional resources out into the field
  • Responding to or delegating inbound client requests and ensuring timely deliverables
  • Delivering live and recorded studio webinars on various topics
  • Developing a robust understanding of the advisor industry and related business practices

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services/Investment industry
  • Graduate degree (MBA), CFA or CFP certifications preferred.
  • Proactive desire to learn
  • Strong desire to engage clients across multiple mediums
  • Solid problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Able to work equally well in a team environment and independently
  • Self-starter who is capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Strong computer skills (Excel and Access) with the ability to learn programs as needed
  • SIE (Securities Industry Essentials), Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses are required and must be obtained within the first 12 weeks of hire as a condition of employment
