Position Summary

In your role as a Financial Professional you'll oversee project cost, forecasting, and document control in support of the Facilities Services Team.

You'll work with various staff to create and maintain capitol and expense budgets, maintain systems to request, track, and verify purchase orders, invoices, and payments to vendors.

You'll also work with department Managers to develop detailed cost schedules for new construction and renovation work.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Reviews/updates project schedule and compares to actual cost performance for baseline variances and change orders.
During execution, maintain weekly project cost and schedule updates.
Generate weekly reports for department managers.
Develop project cost forecast base on project schedule and project progress data, and present project forecast to project managers.
Reviews, approves, and processes invoices related to completed work.
Manages disputed invoices identified in the invoice approval process to identify issues and take through to resolution.
Coordinate and work with the project managers to resolve project cost related issues on their projects.
Track project change orders relative to available project budget.
Interfaces with Finance and other Departments to ensure timely processing of project cost.
Ensure accurate information distributed as need throughout the team and external vendors.
Conduct regular reviews and document audits, producing document.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

2 or 4 year Degree preferred.
2+ years project finance and program administration in an industrial setting.
Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Excel and database applications.
Demonstrated success on the job, as evidenced by satisfactory performance, acceptance of responsibility and growth in previous position.
Ability to communicate effectively amongst multiple groups and end users.
Ability to effectively manage time to create and manage multiple project finances at once.
Ability to read and understand financial plans.
Aptitude for documentation and data analysis using MS Office programs, including Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
Ability to learn custom and internally developed software programs.

The current base salary range for this role is between $57,760 - $156,950. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
