Geode Health is a rapidly growing, national provider of outpatient mental health services. Our Mission is to ā€œTransform mental health by making it more accessible, affordable and effectiveā€.

Geode Health is a rapidly growing provider of mental health services to adults and children in the United States. Founded in June 2021 with backing by global investment firm KKR, Geode was formed to transform mental healthcare delivery by addressing the significant gap in treatment options. It is committed to partnering with psychiatrists, NPs/PAs, psychologists, and therapists to deliver high-quality care and to increase access to in-person and virtual outpatient services. Its specialists work as part of a unified team to provide holistic, coordinated care.Ā Ā

The company’s transformative approach is its focus on accessibility, affordability, and effectiveness. Operating with an in-person orientedĀ care model, approximately 85% of patients haveĀ an in-person relationship with their provider. The company prides itself on making every Geode Health practice a safe and welcoming space at the heart of the community it serves. Geode acceptsĀ nearly allĀ major insurance plans in its local markets. Approximately 95% of its revenue comes from commercial insurance. Offering a full spectrum of outpatient mental health services including psychiatry, psychotherapy, and interventional therapies such as TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and esketamine, 75% of patients see clinically significant improvement with one to two months of treatment.Ā

Geode has profitably grown to 54 offices in five states with over 344 clinicians. The company is at anĀ inflection point,Ā poised to more than double in size (in terms of clinician count, officeĀ countĀ and revenue) in the next couple of years.Ā Ā The company has several durable competitive advantages:Ā

  • Value-driven culture and mission-orientation: accountability, one team, continuous improvement, integrity, balance, and servant leadershipĀ

  • DenovoĀ led, sustainable growth: ~90% of offices were organically grown, with strong office margins (~25%); Geode’s scale and anchor practices with strong clinical reputations enable rapid expansionĀ Ā

  • Meaningful and repeatable clinical outcomes: strong clinical outcomes also support differentiated payer economics in each marketĀ Ā

  • Strategic health system partnerships:Ā RecentĀ joint venture with Baylor Scott & White in Texas is plans to addĀ 100+Ā denovosĀ over 5 yearsĀ

  • High levelsĀ of employee and patient experience: Voted Glassdoor's Best Place to Work with the highest employer reviews (4.2) within peer set, and stellar patient Google reviews (4.7) and NPS (78%)Ā
