Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in billing information entry and tracking, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Balance books and assist in preparation of basic profit and loss, cash flow, income, and balance sheet statements.
- Learn to interpret financial reports for internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and prepare monthly revenue and expenditure reports for designated projects.
- Provide accurate records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
- Support preparation of federal, state, and local reports and tax filings under close supervision.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting systems such as journal entries, General Ledger postings, Accounts Receivable and Payable transactions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to follow instructions and work under close supervision.
- Attention to detail with good organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Interest in learning technical and analytical accounting skills in the semiconductor/hardware industry.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, U.S. GAAP, and financial reporting.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensure)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- No experience necessary. Previous experience or relevant internship preferred but is not required
