Job DetailsJob Location: AUSTIN, TX 78746Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayThe On-Site Accounting Specialist supports the financial health of the organization by managing complex accounting functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering accurate, timely financial reporting. This role oversees general ledger activities, reconciliations, month‑end close processes, and financial analysis specific to healthcare operations, cost‑center performance and assisting the CFO with Ad Hoc reporting. Assisting with Accounts Payable and other finance related tasks. Qualifications Associates/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare environment Strong understanding of GAAP, healthcare revenue cycle, and cost‑center accounting Experience with general ledger management, reconciliations, and month‑end close Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills Ability to analyze financial data and prepare clear, accurate reports Knowledge of healthcare billing, reimbursement, and regulatory requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with clinical and administrative teams Experience supporting audits, internal controls, and process improvements
