Vie Management is growing and is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our student housing community in Austin, Texas. Whether you're already HVAC-certified or have strong apartment maintenance experience and are looking to grow your HVAC skills, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll help keep our community running smoothly by delivering exceptional service and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities include:
Complete resident service requests promptly and professionally
Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems (based on experience and certification level)
Prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing make-ready work
Repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and amenities
Maintain accurate work orders using smartphones, tablets, and mobile maintenance applications
Keep the maintenance shop clean, organized, and properly stocked
Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs
Work closely with the property management team to deliver an outstanding resident experience
What We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
EPA HVAC Certification (Universal Certification is a plus, but not required)
Experience diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems
2+ years of apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and carpentry
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and mobile applications to manage work orders, inspections, and daily maintenance tasks
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
