The Assistant Janitorial Manager is responsible for leading daily janitorial operations within a high-visibility cafĂ©, fitness, and wellness environment. This position requires a highly organized, structured, and detail-oriented leader who takes ownership of cleanliness, employee performance, customer satisfaction, and overall service quality.Â
Pay: $54,080 - $62,400
The pay listed is the salary range for this position.  A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities
Manage daily janitorial operations, staffing, schedules, assignments, and service priorities.
Maintain exceptionally high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, appearance, and presentation throughout café, fitness, wellness, restrooms, and common areas.
Conduct frequent inspections and proactively identify and correct deficiencies before they impact the customer experience.
Lead, train, coach, and hold employees accountable for attendance, performance, productivity, safety, and quality.
Maintain organized cleaning schedules, checklists, inventory systems, work orders, and operational documentation.
Build strong relationships with customers, client representatives, café personnel, fitness staff, and facility leadership.
Respond quickly and professionally to customer requests, concerns, and service needs.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment, chemicals, supplies, and PPE.
Monitor high-traffic and high-touch areas and adjust cleaning frequencies based on facility usage and customer needs.
Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, teamwork, safety, and customer service.
Complies with all safety and security procedures established by the company, by our clients and by regulatory authorities

Qualifications
Previous experience managing janitorial, housekeeping, facilities, hospitality, or similar operations.
Strong people-management and leadership skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
Highly structured, organized, and proactive.
Strong customer-service and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Strong problem-solving, follow-up, and accountability skills.
Intermediate computer skills for scheduling, reporting, inventory, and communication.
