The Restaurant Assistant Manager will manage the daily operations of the restaurant under the guidance of the General Manager, ensuring that all service, quality, and performance standards are consistently met. This role is responsible for supervising front-of-house and back-of-house staff, coordinating shift schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

The Assistant Manager will support staff training and development, address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, and help drive sales through effective cost control and operational efficiency. Additionally, they will assist in implementing company policies, tracking financial performance, and contributing to a positive team culture that delivers an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

**Training will take place in Dallas and/or Austin, TX until opening**

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Trains and supports restaurant staff.
  • Supervises staff schedule compliance and overall staff performance.
  • Conducts disciplinary/coaching meetings that are timely and constructive.  
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with restaurant policy.


 Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Supervises food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.
  • Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
  • Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.
  • Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
  • Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance, schedules for service.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
