The RoleYou will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth across your assigned territory while delivering an exceptional customer experience. As a key representative of the company in the US market, you will identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, and partner with customers to provide tailored security solutions that address their operational and business needs.
This is a field-based role requiring a proactive, results-driven sales professional who thrives in an autonomous environment. You will be expected to manage your territory independently, generate new business, grow existing accounts, and maintain close collaboration with internal teams to ensure successful customer outcomes and achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a business growth strategy focused on increasing revenue and customer retention.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, market research, industry events, and referrals.
- Arrange and conduct client meetings to generate new business and expand existing accounts.
- Present and promote security solutions, ensuring products and services align with customer requirements.
- Prepare and manage quotations, proposals, contracts, and pricing packages in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, customer interactions, contracts, and revenue reports using CRM systems.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through ongoing account management and post-sale support.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Convert prospects into active customers while identifying opportunities for account growth and cross-selling.
- Provide accurate sales pipeline updates and revenue forecasts to senior management.
- Contribute ideas and initiatives to strengthen brand awareness, market presence, and competitive positioning.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven track record of success in a consultative sales role within the electronic security industry, with experience selling and supporting a broad portfolio of solutions, including CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection/Alarm Systems.
- A strong track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent knowledge of the security sector, including market trends and competitor activity.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a field-based environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales processes and business development strategies.
- Experience preparing professional quotations, proposals, and contracts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- A proactive, resilient, and results-oriented approach.
- A full valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
