Job Overview: As a member of our team, your role of Caregiver/Direct Care will involve supervising and directly training patients with brain injuries in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and therapeutic home programs. You'll be working in a beautiful residential apartment/home-like setting, offering skilled instruction and supervision to patients. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to engage in social, recreational, shopping, and entertainment activities in community settings.

Available Shifts: We are actively recruiting for our Part-Time AM Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), Full-Time PM (3PM - 11:30PM), Full-Time ON (11PM - 7:30AM)

Additional Shift Opportunities: We also offer opportunities on the following schedules, with availability varying by location and business need:

  • AM (7AM - 3:30PM)
  • PM (3PM - 11:30PM)
  • ON (11PM - 7:30AM)

Employment Types Available:

Shift and employment status availability will be discussed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach, monitor, administer and document individual patient programs including ADL's and therapeutic home programs in English.
  • Perform bed, bath, toilet, and chair transfers (up to 20 times per shift) using approved transfer techniques.   
  • Ensure for the safety of patients, visitors, staff, and yourself when interacting with patients who may have behavioral outbursts, which can include yelling, exiting, hitting, kicking, biting, spitting, scratching, and throwing objects.    

Job Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Required to have a valid Driver's License, with a clean a driving record
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, health screen, and criminal record check (fingerprints) for caregiver positions.
