Location: Austin, TX

Multiple Positions Available:

1.Involved in hardware design and development of accelerator cards and server platforms. 2. Perform electrical validation of server systems to ensure design compliance and stability. 3. Involved on high-speed PCIe signal design and validation to ensure proper enumeration and successful linkup. 4. Work on schematic creation and PCB layout design for new accelerator cards and server boards. 5. Analyze SI/PI simulations to ensure acceptable high-speed interconnect loss and PDN integrity in critical signal paths, and provide feedback for design improvements. 6. Select and evaluate components for optimal board design performance and cost-effectiveness. 7. Conduct server-level testing to verify functionality, performance, and reliability. 8. Debug hardware issues at both board and server level across development units and production fleet. 9. Domestic or international travel up to 15% to perform role responsibilities may be required

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $164528 - $184000)

Basic Qualifications: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline followed by 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Experience must include: 1) 3 years of hands-on experience in Electrical design of high-speed server systems (PCIe, SERDES, etc). 2) 3 years of experience in electrical validation and system performance measurement with system-level debug and optimization across SoCs, servers, and systems. 3) 3 years of experience with programming languages: Python, C++, and working in Linux environment Preferred Qualifications: All applicants must meet all the above listed requirements.
