We are looking for a Final Quality Inspector to help ensure products meet customer requirements while supporting the resolution of quality-related concerns to deliver outstanding results and customer satisfaction.

What can you expect to do?
- Final Quality Inspection: Perform inspection and final quality control (QC) checks on inspected product to ensure it conforms to customer requirements.
- Training & Technical Support: Provide training and technical support while assisting with responses to product quality concerns.
- Product Compliance Verification: Inspect products to ensure adherence to specifications and company standards.
- Inspection Review & Validation: Review inspection results and perform supplemental inspections to verify product acceptability and inspection accuracy.
- Documentation & Reporting: Document results of final QC checks within Velocity’s ERP system.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Communicate inspection findings within the Quality organization and cross-functionally, advising on actions necessary to resolve issues when applicable.
- Quality Training: Conduct inspection skills and technical training sessions for Quality Inspectors.
- Departmental Technical Support: Provide technical support to the Sales and Purchasing Departments.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as requested by management.

What is the experience and knowledge needed to be successful in this role?
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2- or 4-year college degree preferred.
- Quality Inspection Experience: 3–5+ years of experience performing quality inspections on electronic components, with demonstrated ability to make accurate conformance decisions.
- Technical Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of electronic components and proper handling procedures within an Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA).
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Failure Analysis Knowledge: Familiarity with basic failure analysis methodologies, including decapsulation, solder testing, and basic electrical or functional testing preferred.
