As we move into a growth phase, we’re seeking an Assistant General Manager to join the team at our Brodie restaurant. The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in supervising the full P&L and daily operations of a single fast-casual location. Our AGM will assist in recruiting top talent, cultivating a high-performance culture, delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving sales growth and controlling costs, all while upholding brand standards in a clean and safe environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Live and communicate DLCRS’s Purpose,Mission, and Core Values
  • Recruit, interview, and hire A-Playercandidates weekly, maintain the hiring portal
  • Onboard new hires and ensure completionof DLCRS Training programs
  • Coach and develop team members throughregular feedback, cross-training, and performance reviews
  • Build and mentor a leadership bench: 5Shift Leaders (staffing varies by location)
  • Deliver friendly, quick, and accurateservice that exceeds guest expectations by modeling G.U.E.S.T.
  • Create a guest centric atmosphere fromordering to dining and take-out
  • Drive and act on guest feedback to coachyour team
  • Ensure all incoming calls are answeredpromptly and professionally
  • Achieve year-over-year sales and guestcount increases
  • Execute in-store promotions and upsellingtechniques
  • Control labor and food costs to budget (orimprove) drive net operating profit growth
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly salesreports, develop action plans to hit P&L targets
  • Enforce schedule guidelines, optimizestaffing for peak traffic and special events
  • Conduct daily and weekly operationalchecklists and facility “walks” for safety, cleanliness, and equipment upkeep
  • Ensure cash-handling procedures, depositcontrols, and close-out sales processes are executed flawlessly
  • Respond to correspondence from Operationsleadership and RSC staff in a timely manner
  • Monitor inventory levels, perform regularcounts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Ensure proper storage, FIFO rotation, andsafe handling of all food products
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs forkitchen equipment and facilities
  • Implement waste-and-expired-productprotocols

Job Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years of restaurantleadership experience, including P&L responsibility
  • Strong business acumen with proficiencyin labor reporting, cost controls, and administrative systems
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop,and retain high-caliber teams
  • Excellent communication, coaching, andconflict-resolution skills
  • Basic PC skills (email, reporting,scheduling software); willingness to learn proprietary systems
  • Food Safety Certification/Food Handler’sCard (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Ability and willingness to step intoother roles if needed
  • Food service, hospitality, and/or F&Bexperience is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle,and proof of insurance
  • Legal eligibility to work in the UnitedStates
  • Ability to stand and walk continuouslyfor six + hours per day, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work thirty-five to forty hours per week,including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
