Here's what you'll do on a daily basis...
Our Warehouse Team Members are a crucial part of the Tomlinson’s team! Your organization and ability to work efficiently will help create a seamless delivery experience for our stores. We are looking for individuals with warehouse experience who are able to ensure product inventory, orders and shipments are accurate and completed in a timely manner. Â
Our Warehouse Team Members are flexible, have good judgment, and work together to ensure that our warehouse operation is successful.Â
Duties include:Â
- Maintaining a high level of accuracyÂ
- Picking orders in a timely and accurate manner Â
- Operating fork lifts and pallet jacksÂ
- Advising management of any delays or discrepancies with product on hand or shipmentsÂ
- Loading and unloading shipmentsÂ
- Assembling pallets for shipment to storesÂ
- Consistently following Tomlinson’s policies and procedures
- Successfully participating in required initial and on-going training
- Actively participating in inventory management; including receiving, rotating, restocking, cycle counts, and cleaning
- Helping to ensure that work area and products are organized
- Working with all staff in a manner that contributes to the success of the entire team
- Working safely and helping maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Making decisions which reflect best judgment and understanding of Tomlinson’s principles and practices as laid out in Tomlinson’s employee handbook.Â
Time CommitmentÂ
- This is a full-time position, working 40 hours a week; the Tomlinson’s Warehouse team works Monday to Friday, 5:30 AM-2:00 PM (Saturday shifts are being added in the near future so some schedules may be Tues-Sat)
- A Tomlinson’s Warehouse Team Member is expected to work their scheduled hours, have flexibility and willingness to work extra shifts during holidays, or to cover when coworkers are ill or on leave
Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. This is an active role which requires you to be on your feet for the majority of your shift.
