About Bruno
Bruno is the local-first, Git-native API client trusted by more than 4 million developers worldwide. From startups to Fortune 500 companies, engineering teams use Bruno to build, test, and collaborate on APIs without the complexity, cost, or security concerns of cloud-first tools.
We believe the best go-to-market motion is built, not bought. That's why we're hiring an engineer to sit at the center of it.
About the Role
We're looking for a GTM Engineer who loves building any kind of tech, for any part of the business, and who lives on the cutting edge of AI.
This is one of the most open-ended roles at Bruno. You'll run experiments across our entire go-to-market: AI-powered tooling for the sales team, automation that turns product signals into pipeline, internal agents that make everyone faster, and public-facing tools that delight our community of 4 million developers. If it drives the business forward, it's in scope.
You'll have the resources to match the ambition: any tool, any model, any API, any budget-reasonable experiment you can justify. We care about what you ship and what it moves, not what department it belongs to.
We don't care which door you came through.... engineering, solutions engineering, or technical marketing. We care that you build relentlessly and understand what AI makes possible right now.
What You'll Do
Build AI-powered tools and agents across the business: prospecting automation, lead scoring and enrichment, internal copilots, customer-facing utilities, and things nobody has named yet.
Run growth experiments end to end: form a hypothesis, build the thing, ship it, measure it, and kill it or scale it.
Turn product and community signals into revenue: connect usage data, GitHub activity, and intent signals into systems the sales team acts on.
Ship public-facing tooling for our 4M+ developer community: utilities, integrations, and experiments that make Bruno more valuable and more visible.
Automate the GTM stack: wire together our CRM, data sources, and AI models so the team spends time selling, not clicking.
Work directly with leadership to find the highest-leverage problems, then own them end to end.
What We're Looking For
2-4 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, technical marketing, or growth — the background matters less than the builder instinct.
Deep, hands-on fluency with AI: you work with LLMs, agents, and the modern AI stack daily, and you know what's actually possible versus what's hype.
A track record of shipping: side projects, internal tools, hackathon wins, open source — show us things you've built.
Comfortable writing code and gluing systems together with APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms.
Experiment-minded: you'd rather ship five scrappy prototypes than one perfect spec.
Business curiosity: you want to understand why something drives revenue, not just how to build it.
Bonus Points
You've built with the latest AI models and agent frameworks, and have opinions about them.
Experience with GTM tooling: HubSpot, Looker, Posthog, GA4, etc.
You've shipped something developers use — an open source project, extension, or tool.
Familiarity with APIs, Git, and modern software development workflows.
You're already a Bruno user.
Why Join Bruno?
The most open-ended mandate at the company: any resource you need to run experiments and ship.
Your work touches everything — customers, 4M+ community members, and the revenue engine.
Work directly with founders and leadership, with no layers between your ideas and shipping them.
A front-row seat to how AI is reshaping go-to-market, with a real budget to explore it.
Join a fast-growing, well-funded company with a product developers genuinely love.
Competitive salary, equity, and benefits.
