POSITION: Housekeeper 

REPORTS TO: Community Manager 

COMPENSATION: Hourly Rate, Plus Benefits and Bonus eligibility
LOCATION: Bridge at Cameron Apartments - 9201 Cameron Rd, Austin, TX 78754

 

 

 

SUMMARY 

Housekeepers are primarily responsible for providing our residents, guests, team members, and vendors with a clean, orderl,y and enjoyable environment in which to live, work, and visit. 

 
 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to) 

  • Maintain the cleanliness of office space, apartment units, laundry rooms, fitness center, retail space, and any additional common areas as directed.
  • Clean all bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, and fixtures in apartments andcommon areas.
  • Vacuum carpeted areas and mop tile floors, where applicable.
  • Spot clean walls and windows.
  • Dust furniture and empty trashcans.
  • Clean baseboards, pictures, lights, and HVAC vents.
  • Assistwith picking up trash throughout the week.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies andhousewares.
  • Maintain proper utility settings in vacant units,percommunity standards.
  • Report any service requests or pertinent information to management as it relates to the well-being of theresident.
  • Perform any additional housekeeping tasks or other duties as requested by management to ensure efficient and effective operation of the community.
  • Participate in weekly on-call duties when necessary.
  • Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating effectively with team members, residents, customers, vendors, and management.
  • Participates intrainingasrequired.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 1-2 years of professional housekeeping experiencerequired.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions, Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and high personal standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to perform physical cleaning work that includes standing, bending, lifting,pushingand pulling (up to 25 lbs.).
  • Ability tomaintainconfidentiality andworka flexible schedule which includes weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to complete all assigned tasks in a safe and effective manner, following OSHA standards and community expectations.
  • Ability to embody theSolidagoStandardsevery day.

WORK ENVIRONMENT  

You are required to work both inside and outside of the office and in all areas of the residential property, including amenities, and have frequent exposure to outside elements where temperature, weather, odors, and landscape may be unpleasant and/or hazardous.  

 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, the team member must be able to engage in routine physical activities such as standing, walking, climbing, stooping, squatting, and using hands for typing and handling materials. The position requires the ability to access all areas of the property—both interior and exterior—in varying weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and wind. 

Team members must be capable of lifting or moving items up to 20 pounds and possess adequate visual abilities, including close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel may be required for training, property support, or other job-related needs.
