Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Promote and sell HVAC products and solutions to engineers, contractors, and end users within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits, presentations, and follow-ups.
- Identify project opportunities early in the design phase and influence equipment selection through value engineering and technical expertise.
- Provide accurate project quotations and proposals in coordination with inside sales and estimating teams.
- Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure technical alignment and competitive positioning.
- Maintain a deep understanding of product portfolio, capabilities, and market differentiators.
- Track project opportunities and customer interactions in CRM and ensure timely follow-up.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and contribute to regional growth strategies.
- Attend industry events, manufacturer training, and networking functions to strengthen relationships and market presence.
- Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.

QualificationsÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience in the commercial HVAC or mechanical industry.
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and building applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
