In This Role
- Operate high-resolution scanning and capture equipment using established setups and standard work for known piece typesÂ
- Verify each capture for resolution, focus, even illumination, geometric accuracy, and correct inclusion of color and scale references; recapture when a file does not meet standardÂ
- Identify pieces that fall outside defined capture setups and escalate to the Imaging Lead before proceedingÂ
- Execute production color correction and tonal adjustment against approved references and documented standardsÂ
- Perform cleanup and defect removal on predictable conditions — dust, artifacts, edge and corner correction — without altering the character of the originalÂ
- Build production and derivative files including sizing and scale variations, templating, bleed, resolution handling, color profile assignment, and correct file structure for printÂ
- Verify files against printer and RIP specific technical requirements prior to submitting for reviewÂ
- Run proofs, record results, and route color-critical evaluations to the Imaging Lead for review and approvalÂ
- Conduct QC checks for resolution, artifacts, surface-level defects, and color accuracy, escalating non-standard conditions rather than resolving them ad hocÂ
- Document adjustments and imaging decisions to preserve traceability and version integrityÂ
- Maintain file naming conventions, version control, tagging, metadata, and structured organization across imaging librariesÂ
- Accurately record work in project tracking tools and communicate queue status to the Imaging LeadÂ
- Follow established workflows and standard work instructions rigorously, surfacing improvement opportunities to the Imaging LeadÂ
- Prioritize and execute high-volume assignments with speed, accuracy, and consistencyÂ
- Deepen capture, profiling, and color matching capability through structured development directed by the Imaging LeadÂ
- Adhere to safe material-handling and studio-safety protocolsÂ
- Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications
- Uphold the Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands Team
- Be open and honest
- Reach for excellence
- Act with responsibility
- Value the whole person
- Enjoy the journey
