Summary of Position

Coordinates the daily scheduling and routing of supplies, donations, and special projects between Goodwill and community locations. Coordinates daily logistical operations to include loading and unloading vehicles, electronic manifesting, GPS routing, navigation, and storage.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

  • Enter all routing information into the provided systems in accordance with department policy and procedures.
  • Create daily dispatch board for all vehicles including routes, manifest, and driver information.
  • Maintain records for all services, maintenance, and other assigned data points.
  • Provide daily inventory report of all equipment, supplies, and donated goods items across GCT locations. Maintain accurate count and location of inventoried items as required.
  • Provide single point of contact for internal and external customers.
  • Adheres to the assigned work schedule.
  • Maintain good communications and positive team atmosphere with staff, peers and other departments. Promote the Mission of Goodwill.
  • Report immediately all accidents or incidents.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
  • Complies with all safety rules, standards, and regulations.
  • Display the highest ethical standards when making decisions related to our people and business.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of dispatching or data entry experience.
  • Experience working with trucks, forklifts, distribution operations, or maintenance.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license 

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. 
  • Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear. 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to airborne particles.
